From transit hubs to City Hall to the skyline itself, we created 450+ digital and print assets that turned Philadelphia into a canvas — because when the world was watching, we wanted them to know: Philadelphia came to play.

THE ART OF MOVEMENT

Sometimes to create, you have to discover first. We were tasked with something simple on paper — swap the old USA Soccer kit for the new Stripes Kit on Christian Pulisic for a billboard. But once we had it in front of the lens, we couldn’t resist pushing further, exploring the jersey in motion and testing it as raw material for backgrounds born straight out of the fabric itself. That exploration became the seed of a design language — art in motion — that would carry through the campaign, from the match ball footage in Play Ball to the banners hanging from City Hall. R+D isn’t just prep work — sometimes it’s where the real idea lives. From there, we were off to the races.

SUBWAY TAKEOVERS

Blending design, animation and print capabilities, our team took over Philadelphia’s two busiest gateways to the World Cup: 30th Street Station and NRG Station. At 30th Street, one of the nation’s busiest transit hubs serving Amtrak, SEPTA, and NJ Transit riders daily, large-scale installations greeted commuters and travelers at every turn. At NRG, an estimated 31,000 fans a game funneled through on their way to Lincoln Financial Field — six match days of split-second decisions, wayfinding, and motion design working overtime to guide the city’s biggest crowds through a single hub. From concept to production, both projects moved seamlessly from design to animation to print, delivered in partnership with stakeholders and sponsors including the Philadelphia Eagles, Independence Blue Cross, Comcast, the University of Pennsylvania, and Visit Philadelphia, to name a few, bringing the tournament’s energy into the heart of the city.

OUTFITTING THE CITY

Our team was tasked with bringing the World Cup to the streets of Philadelphia — literally. The centerpiece: 50-foot banners hung from the columns of City Hall, one of the marquee showstoppers of the tournament’s arrival in the city. The project called for more than a static banner — it called for art in motion, building on a technique developed shooting the tournament’s official match ball to bring movement and energy into every frame. That same energy carried across the city, from 180+ pole banners lining the streets to 200+ hand-sewn banners visible everywhere from Center City to the Linc during matchdays — together forming one of the largest physical footprints of the campaign.

IMPACT REPORT

Our team was tasked with designing a social impact report on how the World Cup transformed the city of Philadelphia. Rather than a static document, we approached it as a design challenge — turning data on tourism, local business impact, and civic pride into a visual story the city could be proud of. Every chart, layout, and typographic choice was built to reflect the same energy the tournament brought to the streets, proving impact reporting could feel as alive as the event itself.

THE SKYSCRAPER

When we were asked to design graphics for a building, we had one question: how big? Turns out — one of Philadelphia’s most iconic skyscrapers big. Our team took over its digital ribbon board for a full graphics and animation package, running new content every single match: the World Cup schedule, live standings, and who was moving on to the next round — broadcast in real time to the entire city skyline.
